Virtually Try on Glasses

Today’s review is about eyeglasses. Now the only reason I am reviewing eyeglasses is not because of the wide selection of eyeglasses offered, but because of the manner in which Glasses Shop uses technology to help make the online shopping experience better. How did they do it? They provided you the ability to try the glasses on before you buy them; not physically try them on, but virtually try them on. By default they allow you to test out different frames on certain predefined celebrity faces; however, if you are serious about buying and you want to create an account, you can upload an image of yourself and see what you would look like with a particular pair of glasses. Unfortunately for me, I don’t need prescription eyeglasses and am really only in the market for sunglasses. If you find yourself in the same category, then this site is not for you; it is geared towards people that need prescription glasses and prescription sunglasses. If however you need to wear prescription glasses and you want a pair of sunglasses, Glasses Shop allows you to customize the shade of your sunglasses, add additional features (such as ‘Transitions’), and even add a scratch protection feature.
